LIFE:
Try out the Penny Board
October 8, 2023. Yesterday, I set my alarm clock to wake up at 8:30 a.m. after the party. Today, I'm going to Borsum to have breakfast with my family.
At 8:28 a.m., I got up just before the alarm went off. After a quick visit to the bathroom, I sniffed my armpits briefly. Surprisingly, they were completely odorless. Perhaps it was because I only ate healthy things yesterday, especially the healthy salad? Possible. As I ran my tongue over my front teeth, I noticed they were super smooth, like freshly polished ice when ice skating. Then I rinsed my teeth with baking soda to get rid of bad breath. Then I noticed they suddenly felt rough when I ran my tongue over them again. So, I stopped rinsing with baking soda and switched to water.
During breakfast with my family, Tobi said, "We would like to go on vacation to Cuba."
"But you must not argue there, otherwise you'll have a Cuban Missile Crisis," I replied.
I waited for the others to laugh, but no one did. Bad puns are just my humor.
After breakfast, I drove back to Hannover. It was worth buying the Germany ticket for 49 euros. Now I can travel back and forth like back when I was a student. I was bored, so I took the tram to the university and walked from there to Café Kopi to have a decaffeinated cappuccino and read something. Then I went to Langenhagen and bought a Penny board for 5 euros. I want to train my balance and replace my bike with something more compact. But I have no experience with it, so I'll practice first before venturing out onto the streets.
At 3:48 p.m., I pick up the Penny board in Langenhagen and try it out briefly. It's not as easy as I thought. I'll continue to practice it in my courtyard.
